The peregrine falcon

The peregrine falcon is a high-flying hunter. It also appreciates the views on offer, since it has nested on the northern face of the Nax piton (the via fer- rata). The peregrine falcon is a rare species that deserves to be protected. There are only around twenty breeding couples in the whole of Valais.
