Fireworks Prohibited

The Cantonal Fire Department is reinforcing safety measures due to the very high risk of fire.

Fireworks (both flying and ground-based) are prohibited throughout the canton, including for the Swiss National Day celebrations on August 1st.

Campfires, braziers, and open fire pits remain prohibited.

Cigarette butts, matches, and sky lanterns are also prohibited.

We thank the public for their understanding and cooperation. These measures are intended to minimize the risk of fire and ensure everyone's safety.
