Le village de Mase est l’endroit rêvé pour se ressourcer de la Borgne aux verts pâturages de La Louère, découvrir et observer les richesses d’une région qui a su conserver son authenticité. Une attention particulière est accordée au maintien des traditions locales, ainsi qu’à la préservation des valeurs culturelles et naturelles.
Histoire :
Mage, ensoleillé, avec ses prés et ses champs fertiles, reçut des Celtes son nom qui signifie «terre cultivée». A la suite de différents échanges, ventes, héritages ou autres donations, le territoire de Mage appartenait en 1381 pour un tiers à la mense épiscopale (évêque de Sion) et pour deux tiers au Vénérable Chapitre de la Cathédrale.
