The dairy and costume museum

Visit of the village and the museum : Information at the Tourist Office.

The premises of the Vernamiège dairy were left as they were and the dust accumulated for almost 40 years.

The Dairy and Costume Museum was the witness of an activity once in the heart of our valleys, now the Dairy and Costume Museum is open to the public. This ensemble illustrates the transition of the agricultural world from autarky to industry.

On the ground floor of the Dairy and Costume Museum you will find the Dairy Museum, while on the first floor you can admire the magnificent old costumes of the region. These costumes are very well maintained. The Dairy and Costume Museum is part of the guided tour of Vernamiège offered by the Nax Région Tourist Office and is available on the Nax Région application.
