Hunting is an instrument for preserving biodiversity. In autumn, Mont-Noble has a hunting season. Hikers should be careful and check with the tourist office about the areas and dates. It is ideal to dress in bright colors, not to walk around when it is dark and to keep dogs on a leash. The hunting period is divided into 2 parts : high hunting (bullet gun for animals such as deer or chamois) and low hunting (shotgun for deer and small game with fur and feather).
