The Granary

Each owner had one or more sections (or boxes), divided laterally by simple partitions to separate each person’s possessions.

The granary is made of larch wood and built on stilts to keep out the rats. It’s the biggest building on the farm and easily recognisable due to its threshing floor and the beams of the facade that are arranged simply to facilitate aeration.
